Course delivery

The course is designed to be a blended learning programme utilising a wide variety of teaching methods. Not only will trainees have six regional study days to attend and online e-learning to complete but a series of webinars with regular sessions from their dedicated Buttercups tutor will be introduced.

Tutor training

Complimentary online Tutor Training Webinars are offered through the year which will support both new tutors and more experienced ones. Tutors can participate live and/or review the recording after the sessions.

For those who feel they would benefit from a face-to-face tutor training session and networking with other tutors, there will be an opportunity to attend a regional Tutor Training Workshop for an additional fee of £60 Plus VAT.

Programme leaders

Each learner is given an experienced and dedicated Buttercups Programme Tutor to facilitate their learning. They are available throughout the year for information and guidance, and their role is one of a coach, mentor and assessor. They will send a formal report on each trainee’s progress halfway through the year.
