Pharmacy Quality Scheme - Have you checked whether you meet the NMS Gateway Criterion?

To support contractors in confirming whether they meet the NMS gateway criterion before they complete their PQS declaration, the NHSBSA are publishing a spreadsheet identifying which pharmacy contractors are currently meeting the Advanced Services gateway criterion of the 2021/22 Pharmacy Quality Scheme (PQS).

The NHSBSA has used FP34C month end claims between the period of 1st April and 5th September 2021 to calculate which contractors have already met this criterion. This spreadsheet will be updated on a monthly basis as the PQS declaration period approaches.

Has your pharmacy been assessed as meeting the NHS gateway criterion?

The list of contractors and their status of compliance is available on the Pharmacy Quality Scheme page on the NHS BSA website.

In the past, contractors have been able to meet the Advanced Services gateway criterion requirement by demonstrating that they are offering the required Advanced Services. This year, PQS payments will only be made to those who have claimed payment for 20 completed NMS interventions (including the catch-up NMS) via the Manage Your Service (MYS) portal between and including 1 April 2021 to 5 January 2022.

Numark members are strongly advised to check the status of their NMS Gateway Criterion recorded in this dataset to give them enough time to complete and claim for at least 20 NMS consultations before 5 January 2022

More information on meeting the both the gateway and quality criteria can be found on NumarkNet here
