PSNI Standards for Registered Pharmacy Premises

Pharmacy owners and Superintendent Pharmacists are responsible for ensuring their practice complies with the standards for registered pharmacies developed by the Pharmaceutical Society Northern Ireland (PSNI).

The PSNI Council approved new Premises Standards for registered pharmacies within Northern Ireland at its meeting on 5th June 2018.

Whilst these standards are not yet “live” the Society, through the December issue of Regulatory Update, has encouraged pharmacy owners, Superintendents and pharmacists to familiarise themselves with the new Premises Standards.

To support Numark members Information Services have developed a comprehensive evidence guide. This guide is divided into the five principles and then into the individual standards and details activities or evidence that could be used to demonstrate compliance with each standard along with links to relevant resources or reporting documents.
