Erectile Dysfunction (ED) affects up to 4.3 million men across the UK and it is estimated that by 2025, 322 million men worldwide will be affected1.  It can occur in all ages including younger males, however the incidence rate increases with age.  This provides a huge market opportunities for an ED service, increasing customer footfall and confidence and loyalty in pharmacy, as well as generating additional revenue for the pharmacy.

Community pharmacy is ideally placed to improve the accessibility of such treatments to eligible customers, at a time when it is increasingly difficult to obtain an appointment with a GP and pharmacies are offering consultations via telephone or video conferencing facilities.
