Welcome to our calendar of national health promotions running throughout the year.
This information is a ‘work in progress’ and will be kept up to date with available resources to support the event, such as:
Health promotion briefing sheets – to support you to deliver effective campaigns and find your resources to support a range of health topics.
Training modules – training modules to upskill your team in topics related to the campaign via our Numark Training platform.
Private service toolkits – access our support toolkits to help you run private services.
Private Patient Group Directive (PGDs) – to support the delivery of private services. This is a great way of enhancing your service profile and promote to customers via your campaign. Visit Pharmadoctor's website to find out more.

For country specific information about health campaigns, select your country:
England - As part of the Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework (CPCF), contractors are required to be actively involved in six public health campaigns. NHS England and PSNC have agreed the six public health campaigns set out at a national level.
Wales - There is a requirement to participate in three national campaigns and three local campaigns. Any national campaigns will be communicated to contractors in contractor news and posted on the CPW website. Local campaigns will be decided by each of the seven health boards and details will be sent directly to the health board contractors or included in the forum updates sent to contractors by CPW.
Scotland - For a list of current campaigns please visit Community Pharmacy Scotland and pharmacies will receive materials to display as you will be paid your establishment payments for doing this.
Northern Ireland - If you are already active with health promotions, please read further on. There will be some information available shortly in regards to the public health campaigns which will form part of the new pharmacy contract. The events below are a guide to alternative health promotion topics which could be used outside of these national and local campaigns.
