Hey Pharmacist successfully launched in July alongside several new features to support our members. Our focus now switches to delivering a roadmap of developments, that will provide our members in England with a digital solution that brings the patient and pharmacist closer across both online and offline channels.

The development pathway reaches its first milestone in October, where Numark members will be able to activate the service in store. Through a few simple taps in the app, members will be able to on-board patients and help them select their store through QR technology. Supporting the activation development, all members will be provided with an in-store tool kit that will help acquire new patients and on-board existing patients, as well as maximise the opportunity for patient engagement.

Further development will then take place and by Q1 2022, members will be have the ability to offer all Hey Pharmacist patients a delivery service and will have access to a back office solution that will provide visibility and management features throughout the patient journey.

Launching a national TV campaign

Critical to the success of Hey Pharmacist will be our marketing strategy. We have committed to significant investment to support this activity and in tandem with the final development phase in Q1, we are excited to announce we will be launching a B2C TV campaign.

Following extensive ‘deep dive’ research, the TV advert will be designed to target the typical Hey Pharmacist customer, driving brand awareness, prompting customers to download the app and select their local Numark pharmacy. That’s why, come Q1 2022, it will become even more important that you are identified as a Hey Pharmacy using the support materials we will develop on your behalf.

Our TV campaign will further be supported by an ‘always-on’ national digital marketing strategy.  This strategy will see activity across the main digital platforms throughout the year, our aim with these heavyweight activities is to reach our core objective of ‘being the most visible pharmacy service in the UK’. We have significant growth ambitions and through our strategic B2C campaigns, we intend to build a business on your behalf.

Our TV and digital campaigns will be full of personality and truly depict the warm welcome of pharmacy. We intend to ensure human connection shines through alongside digital ease and convenience. Using a bright, positive and fresh colour palette ‘Hey’ reinforces the familiar, friendly and human connection that expert health professionals bring. The message will be clear; we want to deliver an online repeat prescription service that perfectly complements the face-to-face expertise people want, need and expect from their local community pharmacy.
