Bursary terms and conditions

1 The bursary is open to members and their direct employees; locum pharmacists and pre reg students are not eligible to participate in the scheme

2 Details of training activity excluded from the Bursary scheme is available on NumarkNet.

3 Applications can be made by submitting the online Bursary application form via NumarkNet.

4 Application deadlines are shown on NumarkNet.

5 Funding will only be awarded for the net cost (excluding VAT) of the course and no other fees, such as travel costs, or locums will be covered.

6 Applications must be submitted prior to commencing the training.In making an application, the member agrees that they have read and agrees to these terms and conditions.

7 Approved bursary funding will be confirmed in writing to the applicant within six weeks of the deadline.

8 Once funding has been approved, the Numark member has three months to claim their funding.

9 Following confirmation of any award, signed T&Cs and an invoice/receipt from the training provider must be completed and returned to Numark before funds will be released.

10 There is no limit to the number of applications an individual can make during a financial year. (1st February - 31st January) (See point 11).

11 The total maximum payment to any individual, either from one or multiple applications is £1000 per financial year.

12 The maximum total payment per pharmacy is £2000 per financial year.

13 Where the duration of a course is longer than one year, separate applications must be made each year. Allocation of funds in one year does not indicate potential awards in future years.

14 Where the value of awards exceeds the value of available funds in any bursary round, awards will be reduced accordingly at the entire discretion of Numark.

15 Payment will be made directly to the member pharmacy by BACS within 60 days of receipt of relevant documentation.

16 Where requested, the applicant must provide Numark with written evidence that the training has been completed eg a copy of a certificate or confirmation of attendance from the training provider.

17 If the applicant does not attend or complete the training activity, or provide the evidence above, Numark reserve the right to reclaim all or part of any funding given/agreed including directly by set off from the Member's rebate scheme.

18 The applicant agrees to take part in any reasonable publicity as required.

19 If the Numark member discontinues their membership, a partial or full refund of any monies paid may be required, based on the circumstances at the time. Numark reserves the right to make this decision and reclaim monies from the member including by way of set off from the Member's rebate scheme.

20 Numark reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions, to decline any application or to withdraw the Bursary scheme should circumstances require it or Numark so decide.
