- Your premises must meet the requirements for providing an MUR service.
- The pharmacist delivering the interventions must be MUR accredited. Visit the WCPPE or Chemist and druggist websites to find out how to become MUR accredited.
- You need to ensure that your premises are on the NHS Shared Services Partnership approved MUR pharmacy list.

- All dispensing staff must understand the aim of the service, the SOP and their role in delivering the service.
- You must notify your LHB that you will be providing the service.
- You must comply with the clinical governance regulations for essential services.
- The DMR Service declaration form must be completed.
- Start recruiting patients; you can use promotional materials such as posters and leaflets to advertise the service to patients. Numark will be providing all its Welsh members with a support pack and there will also be materials available from CPW.
- Engage with local GPs and secondary care settings to let them know you are providing the service (materials available within the support pack).
