Michael Stewart BPharm Hons
Michael graduated from the Welsh School of Pharmacy, Cardiff, with second class honours in 1999 and went on to complete pre-registration training with Lloyd's Pharmacy.
After a short spell as relief manager for Lloyd's he struck out on his own as a community locum, working for independents as well as the larger multiples. Michael quickly built a reputation as a hard-working professional, enjoying several long-term placements in high volume pharmacies.
In 2005 Michael joined Buttercups Training Ltd as a pharmacist assessor supporting budding technicians and counter assistants with their learning. This role involved providing general feedback on coursework as well as giving telephone tutorials on specific learning needs. It was here that Michael developed an interest and the skills for producing training materials and supporting pharmacy services, with a new MCA training course being devised and written.
Michael joined Numark in 2011 as a pharmacist in the newly launched Information Services department where he continues to provide professional support in the form of written materials and via the telephone helpline.
Michael lives in Nottingham with his wife and young son.
