Gary Choo MSc. BSc MRPharmS
Gary graduated from the Sunderland School of Pharmacy and did his pre-registration at Newcastle General Hospital. He completed his Masters in Clinical Pharmacy from Liverpool John Moores.
He managed a variety of community pharmacies before becoming Service Development Manager for Moss Chemists, which later changed to Alliance Pharmacy. During which, he developed PharmCo adherence, prison pharmacy, anticoagulation, blood pressure and cardiac risk assessment services. When Alliance Pharmacy merged with Boots, Gary become involved in drug user services and internet/web prescribing.
He was a Bradford Local Pharmaceutical Committee member and became its Chairman from 2003-2010.
Gary was member of number consultative groups including the former RPSGB Practice Guidelines, DH consultation process for allergy services and COPD treatment. He was also an Innovation Advisory Board member for Newcastle Science City.
In 2011 he joined Numark as Head of Information.
Gary is married with two daughters.
