The NCSO endorsements have been agreed by the Department of Health and the Welsh Government for May 2012 prescriptions.
- Betahistine 16mg tablets
- Repaglinide 2mg tablets
The following price concessions have been agreed:
- Betahistine 8mg tablets (84 tabs) - £5.50 and (120 tabs) - £7.45
- Nitrazepam 5mg tablets (28 tabs) - £3.60
- Tolbutamide 500mg tablets (28 tabs) - £23.05
Remember, you will automatically be paid the concession price on prescriptions dispensed in the relevant month so there are no additional endorsements required.
Claiming NCSOs
Remember when you claim the ‘NCSO' concession:
- Endorse the prescription fully with the letters ‘NCSO'
- Endorse full details of the product dispensed e.g. manufacturer, brand name or price if it is an uncommon item and pack size
- Sign or initial the endorsement
- Date the endorsement
If any of this information is missing, payment will be based on the Drug Tariff price rather than the endorsed product.
